What exactly is the point of campaign posters and flags? Do they actually think that by seeing more flags one would change his/her mind on who they support? Liven up the place, make it look like a carnival... ok, maybe. But, "hey, they did a nice formation with 500 strings of flags, i'm so gonna vote for this guy!" I DON'T think so.
My vote would go to the candidate who says, "let's not waste so much money on meaningless plastic hang-me-ups that get thrown away in a week. let's use the funds for something that really matters."
